Moorthy is working as a Manager in a Multinational Pharmaceutical company, dealing with Medicines. His world is his wife Aarti and ,Daughter Nirmala . His apartment is next to Ram’s.Moorthy built the house ten years back.Many times he asked Ram,why he took Voluntary retirement from the college and the answer he got from Ram was "I want to enjoy a calm and peaceful life". After that Murthy never asked the reason.. In the evenings, Ram goes to meet his other friend Raj,who is a journalist likes Ram. That day Raj called Ram to attend his daughter’s birthday in the evening. Suddenly at 4.p.m rain started pouring heavily. Mysore is a Pleasant place and no one knows when it is going to rain during Monsoon days, as Mysore is influenced by coorg ‘s (Mercara) monsoon ,which is very close. Till 6.PM, it was raining,but Ram took a auto and reached Raj ‘s house.Raj was so happy as well his wife Deepa..He said "I am so happy that inspite of heavy rain you came Ram." "It’s my pleasure to attend Pinky's bday. Raj.Come,inside.-
