Spectacle
suspense
I had a funny experience recently.
A client of mine had invited me for a discussion regarding insurance for his new venture.
I reached his office and informed the secretary about my arrival. Even after 10 minutes there was no response. I was a little impatient and again informed the secretary.
She told me that her boss was upset because he had lost his spectacles and was searching for it. After a few seconds, my client called me to his room. He was discussing with his staff how he lost his glass. The colleagues were consoling him.
“You have a good memory, recollect what all places you went today,” suggested one.
“I dropped my son in the school, paid my credit card bill and had a cup of tea with a friend,” he narrated.
I was watching their conversation and intervened.
“Your spectacles is old and lucky. You will get it,” I said.
“I have been trying for the past 30 minutes but could not find it. How are you so confident?” he asked me.
“That’s because I see you are already wearing your specs,” I told him.
He was taken aback. His staff member and secretary felt embarrassed.
It happens.

Nice Observation from Shailendra Mohan.Michael Moore’s wonderful Movie Sickoo,was a self explanatory ,how Health Insurance plays in Western countries particularly America. I Hope the New UPA,Govt may bring a comprehensive policy which will be benefitted to the patient.As you rightly put it the common man will suffer,because of Enormus Medical fees,Tests and Medicines.In our country the cost of Medicinesis not correlated with a commonman’s percapita.Essential drugs prices should be monitered periodically.Patients are not covered under insurance is really unlucky not only in India but also othercountries.
