To day I am penning another Mighty Bannar in SouthIndian film Was Gemini.S.Srinivasan or S.S.Vasan is the architect of famous Gemini studio has created a revolution in those days. He has erected a beautiful set for his Gigantic film chandraleka is still in front of my eyes..Istill remember most of the Bolly wood movies rerecord and processing theEast men colur Gemini Studio was Prominently situated in the Corner of Famous Mount Road .Late Gemini Ganesh was associated with Gemini bannar for many years. From ordinary Ganesh he has become GeminiGanesh.S.SVasan produced manysuccess ful movies Some are Avvaiyar,Vanjikottaivaliban,Motor sundaram pillai,and irumbuthirai is to be remembered.He has produced in Hindi also.One of the talented producer Director had a good name not only in the Film fraternity but also in political area .Two small kids is his monogram ,liked by millions of people.Top Bolly wood stars acted in his Bannar.It was prestigious to associate with Gemini Bannar in those days.He had talented tehnicians and script writers in his unit,one Was Late KothaMangalam subbu. Even thoughSimple,well behaved and respected Stalwart S.S.vasan is no morewith us ,But his work still alive.

Rheumatoid arthritis and drugs.Till to day Rheumatoid arthritis was commonly spred. Drugs was used 3 decades back,Phenyl butazone and corticosteroid combination gives immediate relief,but for the side effects this combination was withdrawn and later came Ibuprufen.Again by virtue of its sideeffects and patients resistance this was also slowly forgotten by the medical profession. .Inspite of so many inventions and modern treatment still Rheumatoid arthritis is a Question mark?Main symptoms starts from fingers slowly spred all over the body.Hereditry is one main factor found in most of the case.

is bright

I was recently watching a programme called Bollywood Ka Boss on a film channel. The episode covered Bollywood movies, songs and other technical aspects. It was amazing to note that the participants answered several questions although they related to matters more than four decades ago.

The competition was tough but the youngsters fielded all the questions posed by noted Indian film personality Bomman Irani.

Who is complaining about the present generation? I personally feel they are on the right track and deserve all the encouragement and support. Today’s youngsters are talented not only IT and such fields, but also are all-rounders. They are positive and dynamic. March on youngsters, people like me may be old, but we are with you. Work hard and your future will undoubtedly be bright.

Tuberculosisand Treatment.

Last year 2007, a tuberculosis patient under u.s quarantine admitted in the hospital,was sad and painful .Air lines authorities were worried about this contagious disease , since he was travelling by many routes.This is mainly due to drug resistence , non comply of the drugs from thepatients.Couple of days back i read in the indian news papers tuberculosis resistence in india is a challange for the world health organisation and other organisations. Tuberculosis is a infectious disease caused by myco bacterium tuberculosis will easily spread.This is mainly due to not continuing the therapy for the stipulated period become resistent for drugs.Lack of nutritional food, coughing and sneezing are the main indications for this disease.Four decades back Medical profession was administering first line and second line drugs for short course chemotherapy for treating T.B..

Today the second line drugs like Ethambutol, Rifamfycin and pyrazinamide also become resistence.Leaving the treatment abruptly is the main cause for resistence.Govt. of india now made second line drugs to an affordable price for the commonman, and hence the duty of the patients to comply the regular treatment ,and that is the only solution for drug resistence.Tuber culosis can be cured not a threat disease like carcinoma or cancer.. The u.s patient was put in observation in Atlanta’s Grady memorial hospital in respiratory isolation.World heal th organisation and other organisations is seriously planning to eradicate this infectious disease,once was considered very dangerous.With today’s modern sophisticated drug regime,and with patients cooperation tuberculosiscan be eradicated to certain percentage. .Indian drug manufacturerers are making T.B. products at an affordable price.This disease should be monitered periodicaly,as the bacteria spreads very fast.

I loveyou .He hanged the phone.At ,first,I did not realise why hecalled,then rememberd it was his birthday.Since he leftfor india on vacation,I had sent money forhis birthday which he was planning to buya bicycle.Iremember he came as a thremonthold child with my daughterto Sharjah in 1997.took himto all the places in Sharjah,andDubai.Icould not belive he had completed 11 years.He has gown in height andstudies.Irealised for the elderly,affection and love are worthmore than any thing.When I heard,grand pa,I love you’myhappiness knewno bounds.Material satisfacion may be momentary,but happiness borne out ofloveand affection can be everlasting.

Today I rememberd an another Interesting Tamil Film created a Good Impact in thosedays with all aspects was Shantinilayam.
Directior G.K.S.Mani handled the subjectvery nicely with Good suspense.Those days this picture was a great hit,with stalwarts GeminiGanesh,Kanchana and Nagreshwas its cast.S.P.Balasubramaniam’S Eiarkaienum song was a superhit.All songs and music was melodious.Above all the Film’s cinemotography was Excellent. With out much advancement in Photography,Cinemotographer Marcus Bartly done a wonderful job ,using Some special lens for the indoor shootingand baged many awards.He is one of the few Cinemotographer has done in Tamil and Hindimovies.He was associted with Vijaya Banner Under Nagireddy was to be Mentioned here.One of the unassumed and talented technician wasMarcusbartley.Today i thought of thiswonderful technician.

The road in front of Al Taawun Mall is always heavy with traffic. Crossing the road on foot takes a minimum of three to five minutes. The authorities should install a traffic signal here to both ease the traffic flow and allow pedestrians to cross more easily. The area is improving fast and a signal is essential to develop the thoroughfare.
